Easy Raspberry Compote (No Refined Sugar!)

Need a quick way to elevate your breakfast or dessert? This raspberry compote is bursting with tart-sweet berry flavor and made with just two ingredients. It’s perfect on pancakes, crepes, cheesecake, oats, or straight off the spoon!


🍓 What is Raspberry Compote?

Compote is simply fruit stewed with a sweetener. This version uses only raspberries and maple syrup, simmered until thick and luscious. Bonus: no refined sugar and ready in just 15 minutes!

👩‍🍳 How to Make Raspberry Compote

  1. Heat: Add raspberries and maple syrup to a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Mash: Once bubbling, reduce heat. Use a spoon or masher to mash the berries.
  3. Simmer: Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Strain (Optional): For a smoother texture, strain some or all of the compote through a fine mesh sieve.
  5. Cool & Serve: Let cool slightly. Enjoy warm or at room temp.
